Teams, clubs, activity groups and organizations:  Would you like to have t-shirts or sweaters printed for 

your group at a very low cost?  You can learn to print them yourself at the Graph Comm (Graphic

Student Section

Ready for Valentines Day? Come to the Honeymoon Dance during lunch at the student cafeteria on Tuesday, February 14^th.  Bring your friends and have a good time. (Lockwood)

Tutoring:  Start your semester off well. Be confident that you know how to do the work to get the grades you want to earn.  Attend tutoring at lunch, Mondays and Wednesdays in rooms 152 and 153.  Our tutors can answer your questions, help you understand concepts, help with homework.  (Lockwood)

Did you know that everyone born in this country that is 18 years old has the right and the responsibility to vote?  Have you registered to vote?  If you register now you will be eligible to vote this November.  There are important initiatives on November’s ballot that can provide money to our school.  We need your vote!  We will have California Voter Registration Forms at our House of Representatives meeting on Thursday February 16^th during period 4.  You can pick one up from us or from the Post Office.  Please register and vote. Got love?  Show off at our Mock Wedding.  Join your ASB/Leadership class in Cunningham Court during lunch on Tuesday February 14^th.  Bring the one you love and speak the words; “Yes I will marry you”.  Students who participate will receive ring pops as a token of our appreciation and we will have a photographer ready to make lasting memories of your union.  We hope to see you there. ASB/Leadership will meet with the House of Representatives this Thursday, February 16^th during period 4 in the Student Cafeteria.  Out meeting begins at 11:45 a.m.  Please ask your period 4 teacher to allow you to represent your period 4 class at this meeting. (Davis)

The student home group for the WASC accreditation will meet during period 4 this Friday, February 17^th.  If you are a member of the WASC student home group please pick up a greenie from Ms. Davis in room 137 so that you can get permission from your period 4 teacher to attend this important meeting.  Your voice is important and we are listening. Talented actors and actresses wanted to perform in the Spring Musical which will be a revue of excerpts from many shows like Legally Blonde, Rent, Westside Story, Grease, Fiddler on the Roof and many more.  Come to room 2 behind the auditorium if you like to sing, dance and act.  Auditions will be held February 13, 15, 16 and 17 after school in room 2.  For more information see Ms. Thrasher in room 2 or 14.  Community service hours given for rehearsal time.

Track Team:  Anyone interested in being part of the track team as a  sprinter, jumper or thrower, see Mr. Lloyd in room 232 during lunch or nutrition to get paperwork and tryout dates.

March 29^th – Field trip for juniors to CSUN

College Counselor presentation to 11^th graders – Period by period on Thursday, Feb. 23^rd and Friday, Feb. 24^th.

Santa Monica Field trip is on Friday, March 16^th from 8:00 – 3:00.  Please make sure that you are signed up with SMC.edu before you come on this trip. (Pourmoussa)
