Mr. Steve Zimmer, Board member, District 4, LAUSD recently sent the following letter of congratulations to Principal, Lonnie Wallace and Venice High Volleyball Coach, Allen Hunt:

Our office was recently notified of the scholastic and athletic achievement of your Girls Volleyball Team, and we are pleased to hear of Venice High's attainment of the GPA award for attaining the highest grade point average in the sport of Volleyball in all of the member high schools within our District/CIF section.

 

We want to congratulate Coach Allen Hunt and the athletes of your Girls Volleyball team for demonstrating the merit of academic brilliance along with the goal of athletic performance.
