Scholarships are an excellent source of funds for paying for college.  There are thousands of scholarships out there for everything and anything imaginable (I have seen scholarships for left handed people, twins, etc).

It's just a matter of having the time and patience to look for scholarships that apply to you and having the commitment to complete scholarship applications (which can be very tedious and time consuming).  But the end result is well worth the effort, when you find yourself with thousands of dollars in free money!!!

Here are a few of the scholarships that have come across my desk this year.  I have divided them according to application deadline, meaning that if it is under January, then the deadline to apply for that scholarship is in January.
